Spingirl is a woman with too many projects and not enough time. She started a blog back in March 2008 with the plan of using it to keep her on the straight and narrow re finishing her million and one projects.
It has been an abject failure. The blogosphere has expanded her horizons to include Ravelry (where she’s Spingirl1961), Plurk (Spingirl), and etsy.com (which is one of the main reasons for the catastrophic crash-and-burn of Spingirl’s grand scheme.) Spingirl is not remorseful. But she did think it was time to change the name of the blog.
In real life, Spingirl is in her late (ack!) forties, has two grown children and one granddaughter, AKA Rugrat. She also has a husband, a Jack Russell Terrier, a cat of her own, and her daughter’s cat on the premises. The grown daughter and Rugrat are also on the premises, which has led to a severe shortage of studio space for Spingirl.
